Obituary of Raymond G. Terwilliger

Raymond G. Terwilliger, 76 of Eden died Monday, March 21, 2011 in Mercy hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 13, 1935 in West Freedom, PA, The son of the late Russell and Edith Terwilliger, formally of Angola, NY. He was the beloved husband of Julie (nee: Cheney), dearest father of Wendy (David) Habermehl, of Lawtons, Susan (W. Grant) Connor of Elmira, and Nancy (Leslie) Connor of Orchard Park. He was the proud grandfather of Isaac, Emily, Rachel, Mark, Matthew, Amanda, Lydia, Luke, Benjamin, Jacob, Nancy; great-grandfather of Holly, Kelly, and Ashley Niefergold and Eli Habermehl. He was the brother of Russell (Joan) Terwilliger of Marietta, GA, and the late Ward. Raymond was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, traveling through all but two states on his motorcycle. He was employed by Moog Inc for many years. He was a member of the Western, NY Enduro Riders Association and the Society of Preservation of Old Mills. His many talents of repairing machinery and antique engines were sought after by local farmers, friends, highway departments, and neighbors. He also played Santa Clause for many organizations, schools, and private parties. He will be missed by all who knew him. Arrangements were entrusted to LAING FUNERAL HOME INC 2724 W.
