Obituary of Eva M. Flynn

Eva M (Hritz) Flynn 75 of Eden, New York died surrounded by her family on Monday, April 4, 2011. Born December 24, 1935 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mericsko) Hritz Predeceased recently by her loving husband of 55 years Clyde J Flynn Sr. Family meant the world to Eva as she spent much of her life devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always visiting her family and attending various events for her grandchildren. Mrs. Flynn enjoyed the simple things in life, like close friendships, feeding the birds and squirrels, watching traffic while sitting in a swing on a front porch or taking a ride out in the country. She enjoyed Friday family dinners, Saturday night auctions and reading a good book, she will be truly missed by all. Besides her parents and husband Mrs. Flynn is preceded in death by a daughter Theresa M. Quinones and one sister; Barbara (Hritz) Jubara. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her children Clyde (aka: Mike) (Linda) Flynn, Jr., Joseph (Cindy) Flynn, John Flynn, Paul Flynn (Jackie) Margaret (Don) Fuller, and Barbara (Randy) McLaughlin. Her son-in-law, Jim Quinones (Dolita), 11 grandchildren; James (Melissa) Quinones, Angela (Thomas) Thomas, April McLaughlin, Michael (Claire) Flynn, Kelly Flynn (Greg), Jodie Flynn (Sean), Chad Flynn, Nicholas Quinones, Crystal Flynn, Cody Flynn, and Jeremy Fuller, in addition to 3 great grandchildren; Jesse Quinones, Caleb Hein, and Andrea McLaughlin. Family invites friends to call from 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Eden, NY.
