Obituary of Laurie A. Lembitz

Please share a memory of Laurie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Laurie Lembitz, from Eden, NY on July 31st 2024 at the age of 55. A beloved daughter, of Donald (deceased) and Diane Lembitz of Eden, cherished sister to Amy Witman of Eden, Scott Lembitz of Orchard Park, and Dylana Acolla (deceased), much-loved step-mother to Lisa and Michael Rutter, foster sister to Linda Fitzgerald and Gail Thorton and adored wife of Edward Santoro of Buffalo.

Laurie was a bright light in our lives, whose unwavering faith in Jesus and dedication to spreading His word touched many. While dedicating much of her youth to become an accomplished gymnast, in adulthood Laurie enjoyed dancing in fellowship with her sisters in Christ, the Caring Hearts. In addition to spreading the Gospel, Laurie felt most at home in nature with her faithful companion, Gideon, her beloved Australian shepard. Laurie’s sparkling eyes and spirit will be missed by all.

Memorial service Monday August 12 at 10am at Southtowns Christian Center, 6619 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, an organization which was extremely beneficial to all the Lembitz sisters’ battle with Pancreatic cancer, would be greatly appreciated.
