Obituary of Clara M. Brown

Please share a memory of Clara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Clara M Brown, age 77, of Hamburg, New York, was welcomed in

heaven by Jesus on September 15th, 2024. Clara was born

December 10th, 1946, in Buffalo, New York. She is preceded in

death by her father, Frank Bryson, her mother, Mary Bryson

(Moore), and her brother, George Bryson.

Clara is survived by her loving husband Michael of 53 years, her

three children, Jennifer Carriero (Brown), Stephen Brown, and

Elizabeth Wagner (Brown), her daughter-in-law Alicia

Brown(Wise), her two sons-in-law, Joshua Wagner and Michael

Carriero; and her seven grandchildren, Mikaila, Hudson, Adam,

Gavin, Benjamin, Elise, and Soren.

Clara's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus,

demonstrated through her selfless service to others. From a

tender age, she was an active member of her church, dedicating

her time to nurturing the next generation's understanding of

Jesus's love and fostering their relationship with God. Her service

extended to the church choir, where she loved to sing about the

goodness of God.

Clara was a prayer warrior. She always wanted to know how to

pray for family. Nothing was too small for Clara to pray for, as is

evidenced by her many prayer journals.

Clara lit up the room when she entered. She would connect with

as many people as possible, and you could feel the excitement

she had for life by the way she laughed.

Clara loved living in Hamburg and connecting with her close

neighbors. She always found opportunities to share her love for

Jesus with them and wanted each one to share that same love.

Her greatest joy was knowing her children lived out their

relationship with Jesus.

Visiting hours will be held on October 23rd at First Baptist of

Hamburg at 11:00 AM, preceded by a celebration of life service at

1:00PM. Rev. Stephen Brown from LCBC Church will officiate the

service.

In lieu of flowers, it is Mike and Clara’s request that a financial

donation be made to support the “All For Him” building campaign. Checks payable to The Village Baptist Church, memo Clara Brown Memorial, 906 South Mcpherson Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28303.
