Grandma Joan
What a honor & pleasure it was to care for her. She would greet me almost every morning w/ smile. She is the only resident that I allowed to call me grandma. She would tell staff stories of her dancing, family and firehall. Joan would have to know which aide or nurse was on vacation, then when they return, she would want to know all about it. I had the honor of winning on of her flower baskets, at the last raffle. I was so proud to tell her. that basket sits in my dining room to this day. The staff @ FBM will surely miss this wonderful women.
