Life will never be the same without him. In a way he was like a brother, The first time i dyed my hair i was with chayse. We had so many little memories, always made me eat tofu eggs but then he introduced me to smiley potatoes and i thought they were the best thing in the world. All the times we went camping, built teepee’s together, hold me up over the waves in myrtle beach because they were big. Chayse has affected many peoples lives and I’m grateful that I got to be apart of this family.

We were lucky to have Chayse as our neighbor these past few years. He was always so considerate and kind. He was a lover of nature and of animals, helping us protect a nest of rabbits by our fence and delighting in how we let our yard grow long for the bees and other insects. He was passionate about music, especially the Grateful Dead. He had a radiant smile when he told us about the amazing experience he had this past summer seeing Dead and Co. at the Sphere and showing off his new tattoo inspired by the music. Chayse's robust love of life could be seen in the way he zipped around the neighborhood on his skateboard with his dog, Edda, in the lead. Gone far too soon. Fare you well, Chayse.

I went to school with chayse. Stayed friends throughout the years. Over the last year we discovered we shared an interest in the same type of music and love of life and the outdoors. He was part of out family. It saddens me that I can't message him anymore. He won't be checking in with me anymore. Not physically at least, but I know he's here. I know he's going to continue to live through our memory of him. We supported each other and always watched each other's back. I'll look for him in that Willow Bay sunrise. That's when he will be saying " Hey there, I believe in you. You got this, keep going ". Im gonna miss you man. Be safe. Rest easy. Lots of love always.

I recently met chayse At fire lights festival with friends . I didn't know him but found him quite interesting I Loving unique kind and gentle soul and definitely wanted to get to know him as a friend. And continue to get to know him and keep in touch. I saw him again at music. Is art and Buffalo with my friend Hannah and saw that he was happy.

Chayse and I met at JCC in the biotech program and began a relationship during those couple of years. I will always remember the unique intelligence he possessed and the love he had for learning. He had a way of taking the material we had learned and teaching back to me in simpler ways so I could comprehend. And when he saw the gears turning and the understanding come across my face, a toothy smile would always appear. Chayse, you helped me become a better student and learner. You pushed me to do better. I hope you knew just how many people you bestowed your wisdom to. Rest easy, Chayse. You’re so greatly missed.

Ken and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Chayse when he was 12 years old at BRCS. He often talked about his admiration of Bam Margera, who at the time I knew nothing about. This led me to learn about the hilarity of the Jackass gang of lunatics that I have loved since. I have even introduced the Jackass movies to my own son. I was pregnant with my son while I worked with Chayse and he was so excited to find out my due date was on his birthday. I told him I’d do my best not to have my son until June 21st, but it didn’t work out that way, my son was born on the 18th. Chayse was a wonderful kid. I will always cherish the time I spent with him.
