Bernadette Mousaw, formally of Mooers, New York, passed away in her Eden, New York home with her family by her side. She was receiving Hospice care. She was predeceased by her parents, Ozias and Pearl Plante, brothers Paul and Richard, and sister, Marie. She was married for 43 years to the late Amos Mousaw. Also predeceased by her daughter, Anne. She is survived by her children Joel (Barbara), John (Jacqueline) and Patricia. Also survived by grandchildren Emily (Mike) Kroll, Ian, Beth (Ron) Anton, David Bulera and great grandchildren, Isabella and Jaxton. She resided in Mooers until 1998 at which time she moved to western New York. While living in Mooers she was a member of St. Joseph's church and the Altar and Rosary Society. In Eden, she was a member of Immaculate Conception parish. In her younger years, Bernadette was an avid tennis player. She also enjoyed sewing and needle craft projects. She enjoyed being with her family and is remembered for her cooking skills. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 25th at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church in Eden, NY. A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 2:00 PM in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mooers, NY. There will be no prior visitation.
