Im sorry i didn't know earlier so i could have paid my respects to Sally and the family for their lose, as i didn't find out about Bills passing until i saw the obituary in the Penny Saver this morning . Dear Heather, my BFF forever, Sally, Missy & Scott,
Here is what I most fondly remember about Bill: his deep, beautiful, booming voice bouncing off the walls of your house on West Street as he practiced his part for Don Quixote while fixing this or that - he was certainly handy. His clever comments and incisive questions designed to draw out the personalities and spark the imaginations of teenage girls. Feeding us venison he had hunted and dressed and butchered himself - but not telling us until after dessert. His lifelong interest in music and theater. His dapper charm and constant cheerfulness. His obvious love for Sally and his three kids. He was one of a kind. Rest now in peace and sing with the angels, Bill. I understand they needed a bass. xo

I first met Bill and Sally 38 years ago when their daughter, Heather was my college roommate. Since then, I have been so impressed with Bill and Sally's 60 year, enduring marraige and the kindness and goodness that is inherent in the Erdley family, all with Sally and Bill at the helm.
