Obituary of Dorothy M. Laco

Dorothy Marie Laco Dorothy Laco was born in December 1928. She just celebrated her 88th birthday! She grew up with her mother, father and two brothers in an Irish-Catholic home on the east side of Buffalo, and was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy. Her faith, her family, and her Irish heritage were the most important things in her life. Oh, and hockey! She was a big Sabres fan. She was married to John Blatner, the father of her six children, for 29 years, and to her second husband, Emil Laco, for 23 years. Dorothy was loved by family and friends! Visits may be made at Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY on Friday between 4:00 and 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 9:30 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church in Eden. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that mass be said in her memory.
