Having first met Herb through work back in the ‘80’s he has remained unforgettable for me as one of the kindest and sincere persons I’ve been fortunate to have known. Herb cared, yet justly understood our days through laughter and his always fresh impish twinkle just waiting to unload the right details.
It was too long ago since last we spoke but for me he’ll never be truly gone.
I am completely grateful to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Although our families have lost touch through the years, I have so many memories spent with all of you, the farm, goats, my first cat Jerry from the farm, the rabbits! Many youth group church events with Lisa and Herbie. Great times, great memories with all your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Kelly (Ott) Dolmanet

I’m so sad to learn that Mr. Stockschlaeder has passed. So many wonderful childhood memories run through my mind right now from times spent in West Seneca and Eden. My favorite was when he and Mrs. Stockschlaeder tried to scare Lisa and me during our treehouse sleepover with a flashlight and a silhouette of a bear. Problem was that we heard both of you coming and the image along the wall of the treehouse came out the size of a small stuffed animal, but how funny it was. The last time I spoke to him was to tell him my mom had passed and he was so consoling. He was a kind and caring man with a great sense of humor and I will forever keep him in my heart. I love you, Mrs. Stockschlaeder and I’m sad for your loss. My heart also goes out to Lisa and Herbie and their families.

Dear Erika and family, Please accept our deepest condolences. We had the pleasure of meeting Herb while visiting with my parents in Florida, Doug and Linda Richard. We remember Herb and Erika as fun loving hosts who were very kind to our daughter, Stephanie. Herb was able to win her a giant bag of very cute stuffed animals. She spent many hours having fun playing with her animals. We will never forget Herb.
Love,
Anne and Simon Kilpatrick
