Rick was a great friend of mine in high school. He was an extremely kind and gracious to me and always made me feel like I mattered. I was very impressed by his strong work ethic in high school. Rick worked long hours to stay busy and finance a car that he dearly loved. When we were both students in Mr. Rieflers Agricultural Class, we did a project together on the production of Maple Syrup, it involved a trip to a sugar bush in his very special car. After that trip, he said he would always call me his “ Maple Syrup Gal”. We were good friends and Rick always made you feel special during the awkward teenage years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Rick’s family at this time. We have lost a true gentlemen..
