Ronald F. Salzman, March 29,1938-December 9,2024 Husband of the Late Marilyn (née. Kumpf) Father of Kathleen (Bryan) Wittman, Ronald Jr., Randall (late 1989, Christine Horvatits), Michelle (David) Gacioch, 5 Grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Wilson, Amanda (Daniel) Connelly, Randall, Maxwell, and Mitchell Gacioch. and 4 great grandchildren,Cameron and Ava Wilson, Mason and Olivia Connelly.

A lifelong resident of Eden and a vegetable farmer, he was always involved in the local cornfestival, wither growing corn or helping man the fireman's tent.

Ron was very involved in his community, serving on the Eden Fire Department for 62 years, holding many different roles including Chief and President, was involved in the restoration of the Departments Old Seldon fire truck, that he proudly drove in the local parade during "corn festival" weekend.  He was also involved in his church serving as the president of the parish council and as an usher.  

All services will be held at Laings funeral home 2724 W. Church St in Eden, on Monday December 16 from 2-7.
